Bruce E. Witmer, M.D.

Dr. Witmer received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond and did his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has been practicing at the Reno Orthopaedic Clinic since 1997.

He is currently serving as the Co-Medical Director of Renown Rehab Hospital and has served as the Co-Medical Director of Washoe Rehab Hospital for the past 2 years. He is also currently serving as the Medical Director of Rehabilitation of Northern Nevada Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, American Medical Association, University of Virginia Medical Alumni Association, Washoe County Medical Society and Nevada State Medical Association.

He uses the latest technology to analyze and treat nerve and muscle damage, trauma and disease. He is trained in electrodiagnostic (EMG) and spine injections.

Dr. Witmer is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
