In recognition of its quality and patient safety, Reno Orthopedic Surgery Center was named a Leapfrog Top Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) for the second year in a row, in 2022, one of only 11 selected nationally for the competitive award. The award is presented by the Leapfrog group, a national watchdog organization of employers and other purchasers widely acknowledged as the toughest standard-setters for health care safety and quality.

" From the moment I entered the outpatient center, I was kept informed of the entire process. I was escorted to the preop area and introduced to the staff that was going to take care of me. It was explained that post op, I would be returning to the same bed with the same caregivers. The continuity of care is critical in successful outcomes. Dr. Shukla, Davis Ayers, the anesthesiologist, physical therapist, radiology tech and all other personnel were friendly, informative and caring. Having had Physical Therapy immediately post op was helpful in ensuring that I could safely go home that day and proceed with recovery and rehab. The 'team' has perfected their process. Initially, I was a bit ambivalent to have a major surgery in an outpatient setting. However, the efficiency of the center dispelled all my concerns. I would highly recommend ROC Outpatient Surgery Center to anyone who is considering a surgery that can be done on an outpatient basis."
