Dave Bryan, PA-C

Physician Assistant for ROC Express

Dave joined the ROC in 2023 after relocating to Reno from the Bay Area where he spent 6 years working in joint replacement surgery. He also worked with educational and medical NGO’s in Cambodia from 2013-2016 while he was living in Singapore. Dave graduated from Idaho State University with a Masters Degree in Physician Assistance Studies. He also completed a Masters Degree in Exercise Science from Boise State University. He received his undergraduate degree in Geology and Environmental Studies from Middlebury college.

Dave has a passion for the outdoors, having grown up in the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado where he was a competitive ski racer. Before becoming a PA, he worked as a white water raft guide, rescue kayaker, and alpine ski coach in Colorado, Idaho, Chile, Peru, Nepal, New Zealand, Switzerland, and Zimbabwe. He met his wife on a rafting trip and they have two grown children. In the winter, the Bryan family loves to ski, summertime is for rafting, boating, hiking, and exploring the Sierras.

I went to the urgent care department. I was extremely trepidatious as I was in extreme pain. My whole experience there was excellent. Every aspect of care there was given with kindness, compassion, clear communication and a welcoming and positive attitude. Each person who tended to me was extremely knowledgeable about their area of expertise. From the front desk staff, medical assistant, radiology tech, PA and his assistant, they were all fantastic! And they all worked together as a great team. I left well informed about my condition and in a lot less pain. And I was given a plan of protocol towards my healing process. Thank you to all who helped me. And a special thanks to Dave, the PA (physician assistant) who was assigned to me. He’s the BEST!
