Physician Assistant for ROC Express

David grew up in the Reno area and attended Reno High School. After serving in the United States Navy, he completed his premedical degrees at UNR whereupon he enrolled at Touro University, Nevada and received two master’s degrees in Medical Health Science as well as Physician Assistant Studies.  His previous experience includes urgent care and internal medicine. 

David first became interested in medicine after sustaining multiple fractures in a rock climbing accident during his youth. He then made a full recovery due to excellent orthopedic care and went on to compete at a national level in climbing. In his free time, he continues to climb, ski, and spend time outdoors with his golden retriever. He is primary focused on musculoskeletal injuries and has a passion for getting patients back to activities which bring them happiness.
