Karie King, PA-C

Physician Assistant for ROC Express

Karie King was born in South Dakota, and raised in Reno, NV and obtained her Master of Physician Assistant through Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon in 2014. She furthered her education by completing a Dermatology Fellowship with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants followed by her Doctor of Medical Science degree through Lynchburg University in Virginia. She has previously worked in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, as well as Disaster Medicine with the Dept. of Health and Human Services currently serving on a DMAT team with AL3.

Karie is thankful to return home to Reno after many years of traveling with her military husband and three kids. They are now settled and enjoying anything outdoors with friends and family.

ROC express came through again, fell off a ladder and hurt a shoulder. They were able to see me within 35 minutes. Karie King was wonderful and the whole staff treated me well. Scheduling got an appointment for an MRI within a week. Can’t that them enough!! Thank you ROC.
