Patient Testimonials

Excellent experience

Outstanding, professional and explained everything. Excellent experience. Dr. Shukla made me feel comfortable and was very concerned with my health. I would recommend Dr. Shukla to anyone.

Thank you

I have been afraid for a long time to have knee surgery. I really like Dr. Shukla, I feel so comfortable with him doing my surgery. Thank you.

Better and faster with way less pain

I had a total left knee replacement on Wednesday, December 11th and walked out of the hospital 24 hours later. I’d had a right knee replacement 6+ years ago but this one, performed by Dr. Shukla, was way better. I walked better and faster and with way less pain. My opioid use consisted of 5 OxyContin and 12 tramadol. Physically I am at the very least 10 days ahead of my previous knee surgery. Dr. Shukla is easy to talk with, spends time ensuring you understand the procedure and the ROC staff have been helpful.

Kind, compassionate

Dr. Shukla replaced both of my hips within a year. I have dysplasia, so it wasn’t an easy job. I came out with even leg length for the first time in my life. Now I can walk, hike, do yoga, cross country ski, and dance again! I have no pain and am stronger and more balanced than I was before. It is truly a miracle. He is kind, compassionate, and honest. His assistant, Davis is excellent and does remarkable plastic surgery stitching! The PTs at Reno Orthopedic Clinic were also awesome!

So impressed

So impressed with Dr. Shukla. He took time to make sure all my concerns were covered. He had also thoroughly reviewed my charts ahead of time and knew about my pre-existing conditions ahead of time. It was obvious he had done his homework so he could make good recommendations moving forward. So confident with his care. I really felt like a person getting care in his office. Thank you!!!
