About David Swanson, MD
Dr. David Swanson completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch, followed by his orthopedic surgical residency at the University of Arizona in Phoenix. He then completed his orthopedic trauma fellowship at Reno Orthopedic Clinic in 2017. He worked with Sonoran Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons in Scottsdale, AZ for two years before returning to work with Reno Orthopedic Center in 2019.
He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and his practice is centered on orthopedic trauma and fracture care of both adult and pediatric patients. His focus includes pelvic and acetabular surgery, nonunion and malunion surgeries, and bone and joint infections. He enjoys teaching and working with residents and trauma fellows.
