Heather received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2009 and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2016 from the University of Nevada, Reno. She started her nursing career on the Cardiac ICU and progressed to being an Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner for 5 years. Heather loves the Reno-Tahoe area as she was born and raised here. She enjoys camping, hunting, and going on UTV rides with her husband and kids. Heather was very excited to join the Center for Foot & Ankle in 2021.

This was my first time visiting this location for a pediatric case. My son needed a foreign object removed out of his foot and was able to get in the next day with Heather Carroll APRN. She is amazing! She took the time and explained the 2 options and we went with the less invasive procedure. My son is only 9 and he did amazing when it came down to the procedure. Took her less than 10 minutes to find the piece in my son's foot and took it out. A day later my son is doing amazing, he can walk without being in pain! Thank you for being kind and doing a great with my son's care.
