About Christopher Ingersol, MD
Dr. Ingersol grew up in central Ohio. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Olivet Nazarene University. He then returned to Ohio to attend Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. As a medical student, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. From there, he completed a comprehensive residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery followed by hand surgery fellowship at Indiana University. During residency he was recognized for teaching excellence and helped implement a microsurgery skills training curriculum.
Dr. Ingersol specializes in conditions of the hand and upper extremity including fractures, arthritis, peripheral nerve disorders, tendon reconstruction, and microvascular reconstruction. His goal is to return patients to form and function. Dr. Ingersol uses both non-operative and operative modalities to find a patient centered solution that improves quality of life and maximizes functional outcomes.
