About Brian Schneiderman, MD

Brian A. Schneiderman, MD, FAAOS is an orthopedic trauma surgeon specializing in complex musculoskeletal injury and fracture care. He earned his medical doctorate from Loyola University of Chicago, prior to completing orthopedic residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Following residency, Dr. Schneiderman received subspecialty fellowship training in orthopedic trauma at the world-renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Schneiderman is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).

Prior to joining Reno Orthopedic Center, Dr. Schneiderman was an Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University Medical Center where he also served as Director of Research within the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts and remains involved as a speaker and presenter on the regional and national level. He is active in clinical care, research, and education pertaining to patients who sustain orthopedic trauma.

Dr. Schneiderman’s clinical interests include fractures, high-energy trauma, pelvic and acetabular fractures, soft tissue reconstruction, and complications related to trauma including infection, posttraumatic arthritis, and compartment syndrome. His professional purpose remains focused on aiding patients in their return to function and sharing in their successful recovery after unexpected trauma. His continued academic involvement and commitment to advancing orthopedic trauma therapeutics are a means for providing patients with the most up to date clinical care.
