About Jackson Jones, MD

Dr. Jones received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC, completed his residency training at Oregon Health Sciences University School of Medicine in Portland, OR, and a fellowship in total joint arthroplasty at Brigham and Women’s Hospital – Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA.

He is board certified by The American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and specializes in revisional joint reconstruction, anterior approach joint replacement, and custom total knees with computer navigation. Dr. Jones began practicing at Reno Orthopedic Center in 2012. He speaks fluent Spanish.

This is my second knee replacement, and I had both done by Dr. Jones and his team. They made sure that I knew every step of the procedure. Dr. Jones is a master at hip replacement surgeries. I’m not trying to suggest anyone follow in my footsteps, but he set me up with a hip replacement implant that has enabled me to get back to competing in Strongman competitions. I have now set two world records since the operation: The heaviest weight a hip replacement implant has ever held after being inserted into a human body, and a Guinness world record for a Strongman 3-part medley. This man does incredible work!

Doctor Jones is the best. He did my right hip on 05/12, and I walked out the hospital within an hour after the surgery. I was in a very bad car accident 2 1/2 months after the surgery that totaled my car. The hip held or as Dr. Jones said it was "rock solid". ROC has great people and great service.
