About Pierce Johnson, MD
Dr. Pierce Johnson completed his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, followed by his orthopedic surgical residency at the University of Arizona in Phoenix. He completed his orthopedic trauma fellowship at Reno Orthopedic Clinic. His practice is centered on orthopedic trauma and fracture care of both adult and pediatric patients. His focus includes pelvic and acetabular surgery, periarticular fractures, nonunion and malunion surgeries.
Dr. Johnson has a deep interest in teaching and is currently an active faculty member at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. He enjoys orthopedic-based research and has presented at numerous national and international conferences around the world.
