Dr. Sanjai Shukla did a left hip joint replacement on Nov. 14th. He and the entire Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC) surgical staff did a very professional surgery. The medications prescribed complimented my recovery process. I did physical therapy for about four weeks. My recovery was better than normal and two months and one day after surgery I was back on the ski slopes; working up to my previous skiing capabilities on beginner slopes. Dr. Shukla's follow ups were very professional in monitoring my recovery as well. Overall, I received excellent surgery and medical care from Dr. Shukla and the ROC staff.

Dr. Shukla is fantastic, not only a great surgeon, but he is kind, caring and wonderful to work with. My hip was in such bad shape, I went from walking my hilly neighborhood daily to a wheelchair for almost 4 months. Three weeks after surgery I was on a walker and getting to a cane - It's liberating!!! To say I was frightened, is an understatement, I was terrified to have the surgery, but I'm here to say get a new hip it'll change your life.

Dr. Shukla did my full knee replacement. He and is staff are very kind and professional. My surgery and recovery are going well. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Dr. Shukla is the best, I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a knee replacement!
