Dr. Shukla is by far the very best joint replacement surgeon in Northern Nevada. I started my journey with my joint replacements eight years ago. I have had both knees and hips replaced. I was not ready to sit by and not to enjoy my life to the fullest. The quality of life that I gained having my joints replaced it amazing. You cannot believe how much pain you are in until you have the bad joints replaced. The recovery time is minimal as long as you do your physical therapy as instructed. Dr. Shukla is very patient and informative about every step of your recovery. His staff are all amazing and genuinely care about giving you a positive outcome.

Very impressed with Dr. Shukla and Reno Orthopedic Center: Superior patient communication, follow through, business processes, insurance administration, & hygiene. Two weeks after my Mako robot-assisted TKR procedure I am 0 to 120° flexion, manageable pain and on track for a great recovery.

I was very pleased to meet Doctor Shukla. He showed me the x-ray of my knee and explained the problem to me. He gave me the option of another shot or knee replacement, I chose knee replacement. I have full confidence in Doctor Shukla.
