About Shane Sobrio, MD

Dr. Shane Sobrio is a board-certified physician specializing in Interventional Pain Medicine, dedicated to helping patients restore function, reduce pain, and improve quality of life through evidence-based, minimally invasive treatments. He provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for a wide range of spine, nerve, and musculoskeletal pain conditions, with expertise in procedures including epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, joint injections, and nerve blocks. Dr. Sobrio emphasizes individualized care plans focused on improving daily function while minimizing reliance on long-term medication management whenever possible.

A fifth-generation Northern Nevadan, Dr. Sobrio was born and raised in Reno and is a graduate of Reed High School. Dr. Sobrio is proud to serve the community he calls home and values building lasting relationships with patients and families throughout Northern Nevada. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, exploring the outdoors, and taking advantage of everything the region has to offer.
