Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Care

Your feet and ankles are the foundation of your daily mobility. When they hurt, everything suffers. Our Foot & Ankle specialists are here not just to alleviate pain but to identify and correct any underlying structural and over-use issues that may be causing it.

With locations in Reno, Sparks, and Carson City, we provide a wide range of treatments for injuries and conditions, ranging from complex surgical procedures to orthotic devices. Our Foot & Ankle team holds some important distinctions over other care providers:

  • Have completed four years of medical school
  • Are nationally licensed as medical doctors
  • Have five years of surgical residency for the entire musculoskeletal system
  • Have one year of advanced fellowship training in Foot & Ankle surgery
  • Are nationally certified as orthopedic specialists
  • Practice under the regulation of state medical boards

The best care is the kind provided by a coordinated multi-specialty team. Our Foot & Ankle physicians work in concert with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, imaging specialists, physical therapists, and orthotists/pedorthists – those certified in the creation and application of custom footwear and supportive devices – to provide every patient with a treatment plan that gets them back on their feet again.

Custom Orthotics & Shoes

Orthotic inserts and properly fitted shoes are the cornerstones of conservative foot care. These inserts provide long-term mechanical solutions for the everyday stresses we place on our feet. Additionally, the right shoe for your foot type and functional needs plays a critical role in the effectiveness of your orthotics. ROC orthotics are made from a wide range of materials carefully selected to meet the specific needs of every patient. Our shop also carries a wide variety of shoes from leading brands such as New Balance, Aetrex, and Dr. Comfort.

"I love Dr. Lundeen. He is so sweet and cares about his patients. I have never seen a Dr. get so excited about his procedure. I almost gave up and was so frustrated with my previous surgeon. My primary doctor and friends recommended him for a second opinion and I’m glad I did. He found the issue right away with both ankles. My worst ankle has had surgery and it’s the best it has felt in years. I can’t thank him enough for what he has done so far. By far, he is one of the best ankle doctors in town."
