Maria Soledad Magpantay received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of the Philippines in 1993. She graduated with high honors with a Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2021 and received an Excellence in Scholarship Award. She has specialty certifications in lymphedema (CLT), physical agent modalities (CPAM), Upper Extremity Evaluation and Manipulation, and Astym (which stands for Augmented STYMulation - a specialized form of soft tissue therapy that uses handheld instruments). She is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist and licensed by the State of Nevada Board of Occupational Therapy. She joined the Reno Orthopedic Center Hand Therapy team in 2026.
