of musculoskeletal health
Operating from Reno Orthopedic Center’s downtown Reno campus the ROC Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3, facilitates and oversees ongoing endeavors in orthopedic research, education, and community outreach. Working in concert with educators, our medical peers, and community leaders, our aim is to be both the home and impetus for musculoskeletal health in our region.
The ROC Foundation offers one-year clinical fellowships in three areas of subspecialty. for post-graduate surgeons who register through the San Francisco Matching Program.
Envisioned to bridge the gaps between medical education, research, and patient care in Northern Nevada and beyond, the Chiron Center, also a 501c3, provides programming to help students discover a passion for orthopedics, as well as premium support to all surgery specialties seeking lab training and further learning in healthcare. In alinement with our ever-renewing mission of “Classroom to Lab to Patient,” the Chiron Center features a large, state-of-the-art lecture room, and two fully equipped ORs.
Through a curious and highly collaborative approach to discovery and scientific inquiry, we provide a robust environment to expand orthopedic knowledge and help the world move forward.
